Intro to Writing
Suggested Grades: 3rd-4th grade
This intro to writing course is a great option for helping your young students get familiar with writing short papers.
Years offered (alternates): 2023-2024 & 2025-2026
In Intro to Writing, children will learn the basics of a good paper. (side note: this course ties extremely well with the Our Star Spangled Story history class)
In class, students begin learning how to add adjectives and adverbs to sentences in order to make them longer and more interesting, they learn the beginnings of outlining, ways to dress up a story/paper, as well as how to come up with eye catching titles.
